Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vesta LLC ("Vesta," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Vesta interview preparation service (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Name (if you provide it)
• Email address
• Password (stored in encrypted/hashed form)

Content You Submit

• Job description text you paste into the Service (we save this)
• Interview transcripts generated during your sessions (we save this)
• Any other text you submit through the Service

What We Do Not Store

• Audio recordings of your interview sessions
• Resumes you upload (uploads are optional; we do not save the file after processing)

Payments

If you purchase a plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to their policies.

No Analytics Tracking

We do not use third-party analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) to track you. Note: Like most online services, our infrastructure providers may process limited technical information (such as basic request logs) to deliver and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Create and deliver interview questions, transcripts, and coaching feedback
• Process subscriptions and billing
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security issues
• Enforce our Terms of Service

3. AI Processing

We use a third-party large language model ("LLM") provider to generate interview content and coaching feedback. To do this, we may share job description text and transcripts with the LLM provider for processing.

We do not share stored audio recordings because we do not store audio recordings.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as necessary to run the Service, including with:

• Service providers (for example, hosting on Vercel, database services like Neon, and an LLM provider)
• Stripe for payment processing
• Legal/safety: when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Vesta, our users, or others

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain the information we store (including saved job descriptions and transcripts) until you delete it or delete your account.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at legal@vestainterviews.com. If the Service offers in-product deletion controls, you may also use those controls.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Age Requirement

The Service is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has used the Service or provided personal information, contact legal@vestainterviews.com and we will take steps to delete the data.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" and may provide additional notice in the Service.
